Squicky subjects? | I'm fairly open to some squicky threadlines in general, as long as respectfully written and properly warned. Things I'm okay with are violence, friend/family death, torture, trauma, kidnapping, body horror. I have no interest in writing any sort of rape or sexual assault, ever, point blank. If any such thing were to happen, I would insist on it being implied. With Avery in particular, I haven't figured out how dark I'm willing to go with her. I'll probably avoid a lot of topics, but this is basically permission to ask.
Hugging? | Avery is not a very cuddly person, but you can try.
Flirting? | Fuck yes. Who can blame you for macking on a Strider?
Giving this character a kiss? | If it would be IC, honestly go for it. The worst she'll do is push you away.
(Something more intimate?) | If our characters are in that position, we've probably already talked about it. If we haven't talked, there might be a problem. I'm okay with writing ~romantic encounters~ so if your character and Avery have good CR and you think they should make out, don't be afraid to bring it up.
(Relationships?) | Hoo boy. You'd have to be awful special to get into a steady relationship with Avery. I'm probably going to say 'no,' here, for the moment.
Punching, physical violence? | Just ask first! Avery will first be kind of useless in a fight and then when she gets Dave's fighting skills will be hella awesome in a fight, so depending on where she is will dictate how the fight will go. I'd just like to discuss it before it happens.
(Injury?) | If I've said yes beforehand, sure.
(Death?) | Please no. Deaths in STE are permanent and I don't want her being out of the game forever.
Telepathy/Mind-Reading | If you think your character can fight through the jumble of constant thought vomit that is Avery's brain...
Mind Control | Humans are kind of naturally resistant to Homestuck-level mind control, so I like the idea of it inducing immediate sleep in the person, but not actually controlling her.

What you need to know ||
• If you've read Avery's app, you're probably wondering about the ~gender stuff~ and how Avery's mental and social transition into Dave is going to be handled. When it comes time to be addressed in game, I'll be very open to input from other queers about coming out (to themselves and anyone else) and transitioning. I do have experience with writing queer characters and I am GQ myself, so I have a good amount of knowledge about how things like this go--minus the whole reincarnation thing, obvs. If you have further concerns, I have an HMD and am always willing to talk. Finally, if you want to do anything ICly with queer issues I would be so down! Comment below if you have any ideas.OPT OUTS
• Avery is very talkative but also very prickly and socially uncomfortable. She does not think before speaking. Some of the things she says are very explicit, rude, graphic, socially unacceptable, or generally offensive. I'll try to warn for the worst of them, but feel free to opt out of any particular jokes Avery might make.
